Hunger Games 3 - Mockingjay.
I stopped reading at the middle. I'm sorry, it just reminds me too much of Battle Royale.

Just read Percy Jackson and the Olympians - The Lightning Thief.
Didn't like the characters, their development, and the romance. The lore was great, and it was woven into the plot beautifully, with little smatterings of modernity here and there.
However, the romance was forced, Percy didn't act like a real 12 year-old would, and Grover doesn't feel like he's really part of the gang. Whenever Percy and Annabeth have their moments, Grover is just ... there. Doing nothing. Scouting. Whatever. It feels like he's some kind of mentor Jedi, only divulging important info when they need it, offering minimal help at the last second. He got the shaft in terms of character development, and I don't like that.
Anyway, on to reading book 2. Wish me luck.

Percy Jackson 2 and 3
I liked 2. 3 ... the plot progression was amazing, the characters and their motivation ... not so much.
