    Bodybuilding Recipes

    In this thread post some of your favorite healthy bodybuilding recipes. Here are a few of my favorites.

    Breakfast: Chocolate overnight oats



    • 3/4 cup almond milk
    • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
    • Protien powder
    • 1/2 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1 teaspoon honey
    1. Mix all the dry ingredients
    2. Then mix in the wet ingredients
    3. Wrap it up air tight and leave it in the fridge overnight. Done.

    Add a banana or some strawberries or even some chocolate chips and its really nice.

    Shake: Berry protein shake



    • Cup of almond milk
    • Cup of mixed berries
    • 6 Frozen strawberries
    • Some ice
    • Vanilla whey or strawberry whey
    1. Just blend it all together

    You can add creatine and gluatamine if you want, I don't like them in my shake honestly.

    Dinner: Tomato pasta chicken



    • Tinned tomatoes
    • Salt & pepper
    • Dry oregano
    • Dry basil
    • Fresh basil for garnish
    • Wholemeal pasta
    • Anchovy one tin
    • Chicken breast into slices
    • 1 dried chilli
    • Any veg you want
    • 2 garlic cloves peeled and finely chopped
    1. First, in a pan of boiling salted water add your pasta and cook to the packets instructions
    2. Now start frying the chilli and garlic
    3. After about a minute add the chicken breast and anchovy and the veg
    4. Whilst they are all cooking in a blender add the tomatoes salt and pepper, dried oregano, dried basil to taste
    5. Add the tomato sauce to the frying pan and cook for a few minutes
    6. Drain the pasta and add it to the sauce and chicken etc
    7. plate up and add some fresh basil

    Mmm add some cheese on top if you want.

    Snack: Protein Bar

    This one isn't my own recipe, but it is lovely. mmm, here's the video.



    My moist Chicken Breasts



    • Chicken breast
    • Salt
    • Pepper
    • Garlic powder
    • Onion Powder
    • Rosemary
    • Coconut oil or Olive oil
    • Non stick cooking spray
    1. Preheat your oven to gas mark 4
    2. Dry you chicken breast with a paper towel/kitchen roll
    3. Season your chicken with salt, pepper on each side
    4. Get a cast iron skillet on high heat and wait till it's smoking, then add you coconut oil and chicken breast
    5. Cook on each side for one minute to add color, flavor and also to seal the juices in
    6. Line a tray with foil and spray with non stick cooking spray
    7. Put your chicken on the tray to go into the oven, add the garlic and onion powder on both sides and the rosemary
    8. Put the chicken into the oven and cook on gas 4 for 30 minutes
    9. Take out of the oven and place onto a plate, pour over the juices from the pan
    10. Let the chicken rest for five minutes and eat

    So nice.

    A really easy one is if you get a pot of natural greek yoghurt and put scoop or 2 of chocolate or strawberry protein it tastes pretty nice

    Yeah man I do that with vanilla whey protein. Then I add some fruit, some granola and some honey. Really tasty.

    I normally do it with low fat greek yoghurt about 15 mins before I go to bed

    Fage greek yoghurt zero percent is really good.

    Zero percent yoghurt tastes too acidic to me but I haven't tried Fage

    Yeah I guess that would work but I don't eat honey since it is high in sugar
