    Beating Depression

Welp, I've been suffering from depression for quite some time now, and I came across this article that gave a bit of science behind how to improve neurotrophins in order to alleviate symptoms of and potentially, depression itself. Have a look and hope it helps you all:

    http://mentalhealthdaily.com/2015/03...rophic-factor/

also, I read about a drug called ketamine,

    https://www.webmd.com/depression/new...e-depression#2

though, that seems to be a temporary high to get out of severe depressive or anxious thoughts.

In any case, have you suffered from depression, what got you out of it?

For me, it just passes. I have no clue what level of depression I've ever experienced, though. But at the very least, seeing a psychologist/psychiatrist will help. Talkingt things through with someone helps. At least I would assume so

Progression from simple things and talking to someone who can help? Yep, I agree. That does actually help, if you're willing to take a positive resolution from it. paranoia and pessimism kill, however. :/

Do not let it reach that stage. Psychologists can be of great help, and you always have friends and family that care about you and want to help, altho it may be harder for them to do so. Sometimes, just talking with an understanding friend can be helpful. But best is to look for a professional. There are some treatments that can help, and the sooner the better

and yet, despite these, depression, paranoia and fear persist. the true enemies of the mind.

I can't tell if I have ever been in "depression" but I have been "depressed" over things. I don't think they are one in the same. I have a good support group around me and I am a pretty transparent person so no matter what, either I tell them what is going on or they just know what's up with me.

But talking it out with people can help you through a lot.

They do, it's not easy to overcome them. But that goes for everyone, and we have to keep on trying.

I find that professional help is always a good solution and there's no shame in that. No shame in trying to solve our problems

I've felt on and off depressed... especially when I was going through a wash and changing medications.
I just feel rather low most of the time.

Retail therapy seemed to help me a lot though, at least today
